Imagine you are driving and listening to the radio in your car when you hear that the Football Association has decided to save money by stopping all training before Euro 24.

Bonkers, right?

And yet lots of businesses, when things are difficult, stop training their team.

That is the last thing a football team would ever take out of its budget, They would want to keep on learning. They would want to keep on training.

Why? Because they are professionals. Not only do they train to get to the top, but they also train to stay at the top. That is such a difference.

Last week I talked about the difference between amateurs and professionals. It’s this amateurs practice until they get it right, professionals practice till they can’t get it wrong.
